Skilled Regional Visa – Subclass 191

The visa allows applicants who have lived and worked for at least three years in a designated regional area to reside permanently in Australia. Applicants must have held an eligible visa during that time.

The criteria for this visa:

  • You hold an eligible visa (Subclass 491 or Subclass 494) and have maintained it for at least 3 years.
  • You have lived in a designated regional area for at least three years and have complied with all the conditions of your regional provisional visa
  • You meet all relevant health and character requirements
  • You do not need a sponsor or nomination for this visa
  • You can include eligible family members in your application
